We got our first win of the season today away to St Agnes. Unfortunately due to other commitments we were down to the bare bones with 9 players an no subs! Given that we knew we would be in for a tough game as when we arrived it seemed as if St Agnes had about 20 in their warm up!

Playing into a strong wind, the first half started brightly for us and we created a couple of good chances which we were unable to take. St Agnes came back into the game and created some chances of their own. But found our defence of Max and Aidan at the top of their game. We went in at half time  1-0 up after a good headed goal from Charlie.

After the break it was pretty much one way traffic and we got into our usual stride we were soon 2-0 up thanks to a neat finish inside the box by Benjiniho. With confidence high the boys were full of running and commitment with Ned and Ollie on each wing seeing a lot of the ball. A goal from Jake after a dribble beating two defenders and another poachers finish from the fox in the box Benjiniho sandwiched a missed penalty. While we were pushing for more goals and a formation reshuffle St Agnes pulled a goal back on the break leaving Rhys who had a solid game again no chance with a well taken lob. Ned rounded of the scoring with a shot from the edge of the box which nestled in the top corner.

Well played today boys keep it up!!
